Use of BlueCheck on smooth surfaces in-vitro
Zusammenfassung
The data present the findings of an in-vitro study which aimed to evaluate the ability of the BlueCheck (BC) liquid to detect artificial demineralization in human enamel. BC was applied on smooth surfaces of extracted permanent human teeth before and after artificial demineralisation and the surfaces were checked for presence of blue areas visually by different exmaminers. Fluorescence behavior (ΔF and ΔFmax) of the demineralized areas was determined using QLF (Quantitative light-induced fluorescence). Histological sections were prepared from representative samples and lesion depth was measured (micron).
